Custom Made Jewellery

A custom-made piece of jewellery is an opportunity to create something truly personal and one-of-a-kind. Every detail - from the metal to the gemstone, shape, finish, and setting - is tailored specifically to your taste, lifestyle, and story. Whether you’re designing an engagement ring, a gift, or a piece for yourself, custom jewellery allows you to:

  • Tell your story - Celebrate milestones, relationships, or memories in a meaningful and lasting way.

  • Have full creative input - Choose exactly how your piece looks and feels, rather than settling for what’s available off the shelf.

  • Ensure a perfect fit - Both in size and in style - we’ll make sure it suits your hand, wardrobe, and everyday wear.

  • Work with your budget - We can guide you through materials and design choices that align with what you want to spend.

  • Create heirlooms, not just jewellery - These pieces are designed with longevity in mind, so they can be treasured for generations.

How much does a custom piece cost?
The cost of a custom piece varies depending on the complexity of the design, the metal used, and the type of gemstones selected. Here’s a general guide:

  • Sterling Silver: Starting from $750
  • Gold & Platinum: Starting from $2,000

If you have existing gold or gemstones that we can reuse, this may reduce the cost. See our remodeling page for more details on reusing your own materials.

We’ll always provide a quote before beginning, and work with you to tailor the design to your budget where possible.

What materials can be used?
We work with a wide range of metals to suit different preferences and price points:

  • Sterling Silver - A more affordable option for everyday wear or statement pieces.
  • Yellow, Rose & White Gold - in 9ct, 14ct, and 18ct. A durable, premium option often chosen for engagement rings or high-wear pieces.
  • Platinum - Also a durable, premium option.

What gemstones can be used?
We primarily work with Sapphires and Diamonds for their durability, variety, and timeless appeal. These stones are ideal for engagement rings and everyday jewellery.

We’re also happy to work with softer gemstones like Opal, Emerald, Turquoise, or Garnet, but will guide you through their pros and cons. Because softer stones are more prone to scratching or damage, we may recommend certain settings or suggest using them in pendants or earrings rather than rings.

If you’re unsure, we’re here to help you choose the best option for your lifestyle and design.
